This is an antique fire brick, I’d say pre-Civil War. Note the uneven orange hue and the embossment on the back. Quite a nifty little piece of Americana. You could get 50, 60 bucks for it from the right collector.

I watch a lot of Antiques Roadshow.

Me (originally): “I’ve GOTTA see Mike Birbiglia. Oh, and Amy Schumer’s gonna be here too. Perfect. I’ll catch Aziz, Patton, etc. some other time. This will be awesome.”

Me (as of today): “HOLY SHIT. PETE HOLMES AND KYLE KINANE. PETE HOLMES AND KYLE KINANE. PETE’S SHOW IS AT THE SAME TIME AS AMY’S! GODDAMMIT! WHATEVER! OH MY GOD. THERE’S GOING TO BE A YOU MADE IT WEIRD TAPING AT HIDEOUT. I NEED TO GO. THIS IS RUINING MY LIFE. SCREW YOU, MIKE BIRBIGLIA, AND YOUR $50+ TICKETS. JUST KIDDING, I LOVE YOU.”

Yeah. So I told Brad about these shows and I’m pretty sure he’s down. He suggested Pete and Kyle on the 13th, then T.J. Miller the next day. As funny as I find T.J., I was kind of so so about wanting to see him, mostly because I don’t really have money. Can’t see him anyway because the first night is Antennas Up’s release show, second is Urbanites (so Brad has to be there), and the third night, I just found out there’s a You Made It Weird taping at Hideout, so I’m forcing him to go to that.

So Pete Holmes and Brian Posehn (who I really am not a fan of, but I’m hoping seeing him live will change my mind), followed by Janeane Garafolo and Kyle Kinane, then Pete and whoever doing You Made It Weird = about $85. I am SO down with that.

Starting to save up now.

(Also, Nick Offerman’s doing a few shows but my wallet won’t let it happen.)

Damn my love for stand up. For real.
