On Saturday, I went down to Cobra Lounge to see Deal’s Gone Bad. It had been a while, so I was super stoked. They played all the hits and put on a great show. As I was walking out, trying to find Blake, I see this bearded guy who looked really familiar. I then realized it was Kyle Kinane, one of my favorite stand up comedians ever. He was in the middle of talking to someone, so I hung back for a bit.

When he turned around, I kinda freaked and was like, “HI. Can I get your autograph??” and handed him an IHOP receipt and a pen. He (drunkenly) said, “My autograph? That’s kinda weird. Don’t you want to hang out or something?” to which I said, “Yeah, but maybe next time when I’m not freaking out.” He noticed I was wearing my Metro hoodie and we talked about the venue for a bit, then talked about how he’s working putting together the comedy portion for Fest in October. I’m so stoked on it.

Coolest dude. I don’t really freak out over meeting musicians, but apparently comedians are a different story. I still can’t believe it. Best night.

Arghhhh.

Tickets I need to buy:

- Amy Schumer
- Mike Birbiglia
- Against Me!
- Deal’s Gone Bad
- Bailiff

Mike’s is definitely the most expensive, but he’s one of my favorite stand up comedians, so it’d be worth it.

Saw one of my favorite locals tonight, Deal’s Gone Bad.
Reggae + Ska + Rocksteady + Soul is the perfect combo.
